Leo Rivas Recalled by Mariners as Brock Rodden Lands on IL

INF Leo Rivas was activated by the Seattle Mariners to fill a roster role for the final weekend of the regular season, replacing rookie utilityman Brock Rodden. Rivas previously struggled to provide depth early in the year and lost favor to debuting youngsters, but he showed more competence in his return to the big leagues in August and will look to provide support down the stretch.
