Sandy Alcantara Won't Make Weekend Start for Miami Marlins

Miami Marlins manager Clayton McCullough announced that right-hander Sandy Alcantara will not make his scheduled start this weekend against Atlanta. Instead, Alcantara will be available out of the bullpen after recently logging two saves in relief appearances on his throw days. Alcantara has logged a league-high 213 innings this season and tied a career high with 33 starts for the Marlins, shifting roles as the regular season concludes.
