Fred Warner Discusses 49ers' Early-Season Run Defense Struggles

San Francisco 49ers All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner opened up about the team's early-season struggles against the run, noting that the defense is adjusting to a new system, schemes, and a heavily depleted depth chart due to injuries. The Niners' rushing defense currently ranks 17th in success rate, but Warner emphasizes that the unit's style of play will continue to improve as new combinations of players mesh together and gain conditioning over the course of the season.
