Rico Dowdle Misses Practice With Toe Injury Ahead Of Week 3

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rico Dowdle remained out of uniform and missed practice Thursday due to a toe injury. Although he took a positive step by shedding his walking boot, his status for Sunday's matchup against the Bengals remains murky since he has yet to practice this week. If Dowdle is forced to sit out, teammate Jaylen Warren would be in line to lead the Pittsburgh backfield alongside change-of-pace option Eli Heidenreich.
