VJ Edgecombe Poised for Breakout Sophomore Season with Philadelphia

Entering his second season with the Philadelphia 76ers, 2025 No. 3 overall pick VJ Edgecombe is poised for a major leap after an impressive rookie campaign where he averaged 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists across 75 starts. Despite the additions of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, Edgecombe's development is expected to flourish in an off-road scoring and catch-and-shoot role. Nick Nurse may also utilize him to lead the second unit to expand his ball-handling.
