Cooper Black is set to start Thursday's road preseason game against the Lightning for the Florida Panthers. This will be a tune-up in the team's penultimate preseason game. Black has not yet made his NHL regular-season debut, but he posted a 25-13-4 record with a 2.47 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 42 AHL Charlotte appearances last season.
