Alec Pierce Aggravates Heel Injury Opening Roster Spot

Following his release from the Giants over the summer, wide receiver Darius Slayton signed with the Indianapolis Colts. The signing was partly spurred by an opening created when Colts receiver Alec Pierce aggravated a heel injury. Slayton joins his former Giants teammate, quarterback Daniel Jones, expressing optimism about reuniting. Slayton stated that he enjoys playing alongside Jones and expects their shared philosophical view of the field to translate into immediate success for Indianapolis.
