Michael Carter Could See Increased Playing Time at Safety

Michael Carter may be in line for more playing time at safety following struggles from Marcus Epps in Week 2. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio acknowledged a chance for Carter to earn additional snaps after Epps recorded a team-low 44.9 Pro Football Focus grade against the Titans. Carter has played limited defensive snaps so far, logging six against the Commanders and four against the Titans, but could see an expanded role as the Eagles prepare to face the Chicago Bears.
