Ja Morant Traded as Memphis Grizzlies Reset Roster for 2026-27

Ja Morant has been traded by the Memphis Grizzlies as part of a major offseason roster overhaul that also included moving Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. over the past year. The Grizzlies selected Cameron Boozer with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft to start a new era. Jerami Grant arrived via the Morant trade, joining returning guard Ty Jerome to form a new supporting cast for a rebuilding squad coming off a 25-57 season under coach Tuomas Iisalo.
