Sandy Alcantara Locks Down Second Save in Marlins Victory

Miami Marlins pitcher Sandy Alcantara notched his second save of the month Wednesday against the Cubs, allowing one hit and zero walks in a scoreless ninth inning while inducing a game-ending double play. Throwing just 12 pitches, Alcantara remains firmly on track to take his next and final turn in the rotation Saturday against Atlanta. He carries a 3.89 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 152 strikeouts across 213 innings while converting both save opportunities this season.
