George Kirby Struggles in Final Start as Mariners Wrap Up Season

Seattle Mariners right-hander George Kirby allowed four runs on six hits and three walks over five innings in a no-decision against the Astros. Kirby finished a tough season with a 9-11 record, 4.33 ERA, and 1.40 WHIP across 174.2 innings, enduring struggles down the stretch where he surrendered 31 runs over his last 42.2 frames. Despite the rough finish, he contributed to Seattle's narrow 6-5 extra-inning victory wrapping up their regular-season series against Houston.
