Roki Sasaki Embraces Reliever Role Ahead Of Dodgers Postseason

Roki Sasaki returned from a month-long IL stint for a blister and pitched out of the bullpen in a 7-0 win over San Diego. After going 5-5 with a 4.56 ERA in 23 starts, Sasaki requested the bullpen role to help the Dodgers' four-man rotation and secure a postseason roster spot. Manager Dave Roberts noted closing is an option.
