Patriots Promote Edge Rusher Jose Ramirez to Active Roster

The New England Patriots promoted outside linebacker Jose Ramirez from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Wednesday. The move comes as safety Dell Pettus was placed on injured reserve, coupled with edge depth concerns surrounding Dre’Mont Jones and Quintayvious Hutchins. Head coach Mike Vrabel praised Ramirez's consistent improvement during practice as the team prepares to face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
