Mattias Samuelsson Week-to-Week With Lower-Body Injury

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Mattias Samuelsson is week-to-week with a lower-body injury, placing his availability in serious jeopardy for the team's Opening Night matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 1. In his absence, Owen Power could see increased power-play opportunities, while Ryan Johnson and Zach Metsa are competing for roster spots.
