Jayson Tatum Becomes Unquestioned Face of Boston Celtics

Following a tumultuous offseason that included trading Jaylen Brown to the 76ers and adding veteran Paul George, Jayson Tatum enters the 2026-27 season as the unquestioned face of the Boston Celtics. As a six-time All-Star, Tatum will face even heavier defensive attention as the clear-cut primary option. Boston expects him to take another massive step forward to keep the team competitive in a deep Eastern Conference following a first-round playoff exit last season.
