Francisco Alvarez Delivers Go-Ahead Double in Mets' 6-3 Win Over Rangers

New York Mets designated hitter Francisco Alvarez went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs, delivering a go-ahead two-run double in the sixth inning to lead a 6-3 victory over the Texas Rangers. This marked his third straight multihit game as he works on staying back and making deeper contact. Alvarez previously hit a 396-foot double off the wall, reached base on a fielding error, and scored on a foul pop fly during a strong recent stretch for the Mets.
