Braxton Roxby Called Up to San Francisco Giants Roster From AAA

Reliever Braxton Roxby has been called up from AAA Sacramento to take Blade Tidwell's roster spot on the San Francisco Giants after Tidwell was placed on the 15-day injured list with a UCL sprain. Roxby made his MLB debut in late August and pitched in two games for San Francisco, giving up four hits, no walks, and two runs in two innings, with two strikeouts. He is auditioning for a spot in next year's bullpen and to remain on the roster through the offseason.
