Anthony Kay Set to Start for White Sox Against Kansas City

Anthony Kay takes the mound for the Chicago White Sox in the opener of a three-year road trip against the Kansas City Royals. Manager Will Venable continues to evaluate Kay, who owns a 6.00 ERA in his last seven starts, yielding 22 earned runs across 33 innings. Kay looks to build on a solid previous outing where he allowed no earned runs over four innings, relying heavily on his six-pitch arsenal and effective sweeper.
