Cal Quantrill Transferred to 60-Day Injured List by Rangers

The Texas Rangers placed pitcher Cal Quantrill on the 60-day injured list due to a lat issue, officially ending his 2026 season and keeping him unavailable for the playoffs. Quantrill finishes the year with a 2.86 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 81 strikeouts across 110 innings. Michael Helman was activated from the 60-day IL to take his spot.
