Bishop Fitzgerald Signed to Detroit Lions Roster from Steelers Practice Squad

The Detroit Lions signed safety Bishop Fitzgerald off the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad on Tuesday. Fitzgerald originally entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Titans this spring before joining Pittsburgh. He totaled five interceptions last season at USC and also played collegiately at Coffeyville Community College and North Carolina State, providing new secondary depth for Detroit following roster adjustments.
