The 31-year-old right-hander has posted a 3.93 ERA across 55 innings over 48 appearances, establishing himself as a trusted late-inning arm before being sidelined in late August with elbow soreness. To make room on the active roster, the Rangers optioned pitcher Adam Macko to Triple-A Round Rock.
