Adam Macko Optioned to Triple-A Round Rock by Texas Rangers

The Texas Rangers optioned pitcher Adam Macko to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday to clear a roster spot for returning reliever Peyton Gray. Macko had recently been called up to provide a fresh arm in the bullpen on a short-term basis, pitching in relief during the Rangers' 7-2 loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday.
