Ryan Nembhard Traded to Charlotte Hornets and Expected to Be Waived

Undrafted rookie Ryan Nembhard was traded by Atlanta to Charlotte alongside Buddy Hield for Dorian Finney-Smith, but Charlotte plans to waive him. Nembhard averaged 6.6 points, 5.3 assists, and 2.2 rebounds in 60 games last season, setting a rookie record with 23 assists in the season finale against Chicago. He now searches for a new NBA home, drawing interest from teams with open two-way roster spots like Denver, Boston, and Chicago.
