Luke Kennard Joins Suns on 2-Year Deal, Expected to Boost 3-Point Volume

Sharpshooter Luke Kennard signed a 2-year, $13M deal with the Phoenix Suns (player option for 2nd year) to provide elite floor spacing. Last season with the Lakers, he led the NBA in 3PT% (47.8%) averaging 8.4 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 2.2 APG in 78 games. The Suns anticipate he'll increase his 3-point attempts beyond his previous 3.1 per game, playing a key rotation role for 18-22 minutes nightly.
