Julian Phillips Brings Defense-First Mindset to Houston Rockets

Julian Phillips signed with the Houston Rockets in the offseason after stints with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves. Standing 6'6", the 22-year-old small forward is prized for his length, athleticism, and defensive capability fitting Ime Udoka's system. He averages 3.6 points in 11 minutes per game over his career, struggling offensively with a 43.5 percent field goal percentage and 32 percent from deep, but adds key wing defense depth.
