Khalifa Diop Enters Rookie Season With Cleveland Cavaliers

Four years after being drafted, 6'11" big man Khalifa Diop is gearing up for his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Known as a mobile lob finisher and aerial threat, Diop's raw game still requires polish in defensive positioning, passing, and P&R execution. Cleveland plans to develop him slowly behind Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, utilizing practice and the G-League Charge to refine his skills without rushing him into meaningful minutes.
