Quan Martin Positioned as Next Man Up Amid Cross Injury

Washington Commanders safety Quan Martin stands ready to step into a larger role if teammate Nick Cross is forced to miss upcoming action. Cross was hospitalized overnight following a game against the Cowboys to be evaluated for an internal injury before being discharged on Monday morning. As the team monitors Cross's status ahead of their Sunday home matchup against the Seahawks, Martin serves as the primary replacement option in the defensive secondary.
