Hunter McDonald Absorbs Cross-Check in Preseason Clash

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Hunter McDonald remained in Monday's preseason game against the Washington Capitals after delivering a hard, clean board hit on Ryan Leonard. The play provoked Capitals rookie Andrew Cristall to cross-check McDonald in the face and neck area, leading to Cristall's ejection via a game misconduct. McDonald was unharmed on the play and continued playing throughout the contest.
