Zach Ertz Returns To Philadelphia Eagles Practice Squad After Injury

Veteran tight end Zach Ertz is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles, signing with the practice squad following Dallas Goedert's sprained MCL diagnosis. Ertz, who spent 2013-2021 with Philadelphia and won Super Bowl 52, provides immediate depth alongside Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins. Expected to be elevated for Week 3 against Chicago, Ertz sits just 10 catches shy of breaking Harold Carmichael's franchise record of 579 receptions after posting 50 catches for 504 yards last year.
