Demarcus Robinson Faces 3-to-6 Week Recovery with High-Ankle Sprain
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was carted off with a severe high-ankle sprain during Sunday's 35-13 win over the Miami Dolphins and is expected to miss 3 to 6 weeks. Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted that Robinson will most likely be placed on injured reserve. With Robinson sidelined indefinitely alongside other receiver injuries, the 49ers are evaluating options while turning to depth options like Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing, and KhaDarel Hodge.
