Deshaun Watson Shines in Browns Upset Victory Over Bucs as HC Monken Backs Him

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson delivered one of his strongest performances in years, leading an upset victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. Watson outplayed Baker Mayfield, recorded his highest passer rating since September 2023, and utilized his legs to rebound from a poor Week 1 outing. Head coach Todd Monken expressed strong optimism for Watson, viewing the quarterback as a young player who will continue to grow as he commands the offense.
