Quadir Copeland Joins Houston Rockets on Two-Way Contract

The Houston Rockets signed 23-year-old undrafted guard Quadir Copeland to a two-way contract for the 2026-2027 season. Standing 6-foot-6, Copeland averaged 13.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 6.5 assists as a senior at NC State while shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from deep. Head coach Ime Udoka values his defense-first mindset, size, and athleticism, though his 2.8 turnovers per game indicate areas for developmental growth.
