D'Angelo Ponds Inactive for Jets Week 2 Matchup Against Packers

The New York Jets announced Sunday that rookie cornerback D'Angelo Ponds will be inactive for the team's Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers. Ponds was set to make his NFL debut after practicing during the week, but is still recovering from a calf injury suffered in July that caused him to miss training camp and Week 1. The No. 50 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft out of Indiana will have to wait for his first official regular-season appearance.
