Alec Pierce Suffers Heel Injury, Initial X-Rays Negative

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce was ruled out of Sunday night's game against the Chiefs after injuring his left heel on a non-contact play. Pierce caught his sole target for 11 yards before being carted to the locker room. Initial X-rays returned negative, but Pierce is scheduled for further testing on Monday regarding the heel, which relates to the same area as his offseason ankle surgery.
