Brandon Lowe Smashes Game-Winning Home Run in Pirates Victory

Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Brandon Lowe hit a game-winning two-run home run in the eighth inning of Saturday's 6-5 victory over the Royals. Lowe finished 2-for-4, continuing a hot streak where he has hit safely in 10 of 11 games and homered four times in five contests. Unsurprisingly, Pittsburgh is interested in retaining Lowe beyond this season; he leads all MLB second basemen with 33 home runs and has compiled 93 RBI on the year.
