Pavin Smith Hits Walk-Off Home Run to Keep Diamondbacks Alive

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder/first baseman Pavin Smith delivered a dramatic, pinch-hit two-run walk-off home run in the ninth inning to defeat the New York Yankees 5-3 on Saturday. Smith, who was waived by the club two months ago before returning, kept Arizona's postseason hopes alive in the wild-card race with the clutch blast, capitalizing after the Diamondbacks celebrated their 2001 championship team.
