Grant Taylor Nails Down 10th Save of the Season
Grant Taylor retired the side in 1.1 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit to secure his 10th save of the year in Sunday's win over Detroit. Despite allowing runs in four of his seven September appearances, Taylor remains a primary closer for Chicago. He has converted back-to-back save chances with four consecutive shutout frames, bringing a strong 2.30 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 103 strikeouts across 82 innings this season.
