Chas McCormick Stays Hot With Three-Hit Game and RBI Double

Chas McCormick stayed hot for the Iowa Cubs, going 3 for 5 with a two-run double that soared high off the center field wall in the first inning of a 6-4 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers. McCormick later scored a run in the same opening frame as part of a four-run explosion that staked Iowa to an early lead they would not relinquish. The win marked the fifth straight victory for the Iowa Cubs as the minor league season nears its final day.
