Mitch Wishnowsky Elevated by New England Patriots for Week 2
The New England Patriots elevated punter Mitch Wishnowsky from the practice squad for Sunday's home opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wishnowsky, making his second appearance in as many weeks while Bryce Baringer remains on injured reserve, averaged 44.3 yards per punt in his September debut against Seattle. The 34-year-old veteran also serves as the holder for long snapper Julian Ashby and kicker Andy Borregales, recording three punts inside the 20-yard line last week.
