Félix Bautista Reinstated by Orioles Following 14-Month Shoulder Recovery

The Baltimore Orioles have officially activated reliever Félix Bautista after a 14-month absence following shoulder surgery. While the late-season return limits his impact on playoff positioning, manager Craig Albernaz has not yet committed to placing 'The Mountain' directly back into the closer role. Consequently, Bautista is expected to serve in a late-inning bridge or high-leverage setup role during his initial appearances as he eases back into action.
