Salvador Perez Out of Royals Lineup Saturday to Regroup

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez is out of the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Perez will take a day off to regroup after struggling through an 0-for-12 slump with three strikeouts over his last three games. With Perez resting, Jac Caglianone will serve as the designated hitter, opening up right field for John Rave, while Nick Loftin starts at third base for Kansas City.
