Thomas Milic to Start Preseason Opener for Jets Against Oilers

Thomas Milic will start in goal for the Winnipeg Jets in Saturday's preseason road matchup against the Edmonton Oilers. The 23-year-old posted a 20-13-6 record, 2.64 GAA, and .905 save percentage in 41 games for AHL Manitoba during the 2025-26 season. With Connor Hellebuyck currently suspended amid a pending trade request, Milic is competing during training camp to secure the backup netminder position behind Stuart Skinner.
