Denver Barkey Eyeing Expanded Center Role and Power Play Time with Flyers

Denver Barkey is impressing during Philadelphia Flyers training camp while competing for a center spot. He skated between Alex Bump and Matvei Michkov in Saturday's scrimmage, scoring two goals with the line. Barkey was also featured on the top power-play unit alongside Michkov and Trevor Zegras. After recording 69:16 of power-play ice time across 43 games last season, the 21-year-old is looking to solidify his place in an expanded role for the upcoming campaign.
