Aroldis Chapman Out This Weekend with Lat Injury, Eyes Return Next Week

Boston Red Sox reliever Aroldis Chapman will not pitch this weekend due to a lat strain, though the team expects him to return during next week's final homestand. With Boston holding a comfortable six-game lead in the playoff race, the team is avoiding rushing their veteran closer back into action. Garrett Whitlock and Erik Miller recently picked up saves in Chapman's absence.
