Corbin Carroll Dropped to Seventh in Lineup Amid Recent Slump

Corbin Carroll was dropped to seventh in the batting order for Friday's 9-2 loss against the Yankees, marking his lowest lineup spot of the season. Manager Torey Lovullo made the move to lessen pressure on Carroll, who entered the game batting .147 (10-for-68) with a 32.4% strikeout rate over his previous 19 games. Despite the demotion, Carroll delivered a double and a two-run home run in the contest, though his long-term placement in the order remains uncertain.
