Ryan Weathers Unlikely to Pitch Before Postseason

New York Yankees left-hander Ryan Weathers is unlikely to pitch before the end of the regular season due to a left forearm flexor strain suffered in late August. Manager Aaron Boone indicated Weathers will throw a side session on Saturday to evaluate his potential availability for the postseason roster. Weathers owns a 3.60 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 25 starts this season, posting a 2.27 ERA over his last seven starts.
