Eddy Pineiro Questionable for Week 2 vs. Dolphins as 49ers Weigh Kicker Options

San Francisco 49ers kicker Eddy Pineiro remains listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 2 home opener against the Miami Dolphins after missing three straight practice sessions due to an unresolved illness. Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed the team will bring in a free-agent kicker on Saturday to serve as a temporary replacement and insurance on the practice squad. The 49ers are currently deciding between two kicker options and will finalize their roster decision prior to kickoff.
