Giants Place Cornerback Paulson Adebo on IR Due to Knee Injury

The New York Giants placed cornerback Paulson Adebo on injured reserve Friday due to a knee injury suffered in Week 1 against the Cowboys. Head coach John Harbaugh expects Adebo to return after missing the mandatory four games without needing surgery. Adebo, who signed a three-year, $54 million contract last year, played just 10 defensive snaps in the opener after losing his starting job. New York signed Nikko Reed off the Chargers' practice squad as a corresponding move.
