BJ Murray Optioned to Triple-A Iowa, Launches Grand Slam in Doubleheader Sweep

Infielder BJ Murray was optioned to Triple-A Iowa by the Chicago Cubs to clear active roster space for Dansby Swanson's return from the injured list. Murray made an immediate impact upon returning to Iowa on Friday, going 1-for-3 with a run in Game 1 before launching a sixth-inning grand slam in Game 2 of a doubleheader sweep against Omaha. The grand slam marked Murray's 17th home run of the minor league season.
