Michael Mayer Set For Lead TE Role With Bowers Doubtful

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer is in line to serve as the team's primary tight end for Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. With teammate Brock Bowers listed as doubtful due to ongoing recovery from a recent knee meniscus surgery, Mayer assumes the lead role on offense. He remains a viable starting option in fantasy football lineups for Week 2 while Bowers works toward an expected return to the active lineup in Week 3.
